Glin Castle stands in a 500 acre wooded demesne on the banks of the River Shannon. Formal pleasure gardens surround the castle where Spring is marked by Camellias, Magnolia Campbelli and Sophora tetreptera in bloom. Other magnificent trees and shrubs come into their own during the Summer period.

Location: Outside the village of Glin on the N69 from Limerick and Foynes.

Open: From May to September, strictly by appointment, 10.00-16.00 daily. Open to groups of 10 or more only.
